Clayton Early Learning is Hiring a Quality associate Near Denver, CO

About the role :

This position is responsible for conducting classroom-based assessment using the Environment Rating Scales and / or Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) tools and / or program assessment for all Quality Assessment Services Department projects.

This position has a primary focus on the administration of Colorado Shines, the state Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS).

What we want you to do :

  • Independently manage on-site observation schedule and caseload for state-wide assessments
  • Conduct observations in classrooms and assess using quality scales (Environment Rating Scales, CLASS, other) and standards;

visits classrooms and records notes in required record forms.

  • Perform orientation process for assessments and ensure accurate communication and documentation is properly disseminated.
  • Review data, produce, and update quality feedback reports that inform programs of their strengths and recommendations.
  • Plans and facilitates consultation for assessments and ensures fair, accurate, and professional communication of assessment standards and feedback from observation.
  • Attains and upholds reliability on the appropriate rating scales to maintain expertise and prevent rater drift, complete inter-rater reliability observations with the Quality Advancement Team (ERS state anchors)
  • Complete and monitor all required training and certifications as required by the organization or contractors.

What we are looking for and what you must have :

Certifications or Licenses

  • Mandatory Reporter Certification
  • Infant Safe Sleep
  • Abusive Head Trauma Certifications
  • Standard Precautions
  • Associates in ECE

Training

  • Attending all required training and meetings facilitated by the Quality Advancement Team and other partners.
  • Experience using the Environment Rating Scales and / or CLASS assessment tools in early childhood education.
  • Reliability in one or more of the Environment Rating Scale and Pre-K CLASS certification preferred.
  • Official Trainer through Colorado's Professional Development Information System preferred.

Other Special Requirements

  • Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred
  • Current PPD-TB and physical examination
  • Must successfully pass a background check and all regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain reliable transportation and a valid driver license with the ability to travel in-state and out-of-state.

Compensation :

$22.60-$23.56 an hour
