Individuals interested in this position are NOT certified employees of the CCPS. They are individuals that have completed the GHSAA Community Coach certification courses and they are interested in being assistant coaches for high school athletics. Specific coaching assignments are determined at the school level. Coaches must provide appropriate teaching and learning segments to support the individual and/or performance of a team.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be certified through the GHSAA to be a Community (Lay) Coach. Individuals must also pass a criminal background check and meet all hiring requirements established by Clayton County Public Schools.
