Job Description

The Home Building Group is actively searching for a QA Coordinator for our Clayton Addison II facility in Addison, AL.

SUMMARY

• Maintain current master copy of all documents including supplier data, supplier audit reports, DAPIA, ECR’s, record of changes, CEF forms, etc.

• Distribute materials (DAPIA updates, supplier data, product standards, etc.) with full explanation of changes or additions

• Initiate ECR’s for proposed changes or modifications of the DAPIA designs or Floor Plans

• Follow-up with all paperwork distributions to assure changes are being made in accordance with distributed drawings and specifications

• Inspections, monitoring, and tracking

• Perform a systematic documented line inspection, in a 15-day rotation of CCI items, material installation, and observation of testing equipment

• Daily inspection of a labeled unit.

• Follow-up inspections of yard work and re-testing

• Ensure that the QA Administration - FTC Database is updated routinely and monitor for repetitive issues or other quality issues

• Assist in the accurate and timely completion of HUD 302 reports, Alternate Construction reports and Energy Star reports

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma/GED, or equivalent experience
• Construction industry experience preferred

QUALIFICATIONS

• Working knowledge of facilities machines, tools, and equipment
• Ability to track and report on Quality issues
• Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with all Team Members at all levels
• Solid understanding of construction trades and quality practices
• Must have advanced computer skills including Excel, Microsoft office
• Good communication skills

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 20 pounds
• Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment
• Must be able to climb ladders, bend, stoop, squat, stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to comply with attendance policy
• Must have exceptional attendance history
• Ability to meet drug and alcohol policy
• Time management skills, self motivated

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
