This position will complete basic maintenance, reconstruction / remodeling, and repair services as assigned. This individual will perform a variety of duties including preventive maintenance on equipment, general services (moving file cabinets, office furniture, hanging pictures, etc.
check buildings for needed maintenance and repair work per schedule, and snow and ice removal.
The ideal candidate will have two to four years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience, in a related field such as boilers, plumbing, carpentry, painting, electronics, custodial, or grounds keeping.
They will hold a valid Missouri State Driver's License, be insured, and capable of driving a motor vehicle under normal and inclement weather situations.
The employee benefits package includes two defined benefit retirement plans fully funded by the County and a deferred-compensation plan with a match on the first 4% contributed.
We also offer three medical plans including two high deductible plans, dental, vision, two flexible spending accounts, and supplemental plans.
Full-time employees are also offered life insurance (2X annual salary) paid by the County, paid vacation / sick leave, 14 paid holidays, LTD and tuition reimbursement.
