Clay Cooley KIA of Irving is always looking to add qualified, experienced, and self-motivated Service Technicians to our growing team! The Service Technician should be at a proficient level and can perform diagnostics and repairs in all areas, including specialized areas of repair.

Job Duties:

• Examines, diagnoses, and discusses the issue of the vehicle with the Shop Foreman/Service Advisor for communication to the customers. The Technician offers labor time estimates to the Service Advisor.
• Restores transmissions and fuel components as needed. The Technician repairs cooling components and systems, such as engine cooling and air conditioners.
• Proposes work procedures in cooperation with the Shop Foreman. The Technician completes a story or document for customer repairs.
• Ensures that vehicle longevity and functionality are maintained in a routine manner. The Technician maintains adherence to dealership policies regarding customer vehicle care and operations.

Job Requirements:

• Automotive Technician knowledge/experience is required. Pay is based on experience.
• Certifications, Licenses, and local registrations required for the position.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating, maintenance, and procedure manuals.
• Flexible schedule
• Wear appropriate safety gear when in designated work area. Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, in compliance with company regulations.
