Orthodontic Assistant - $20 to $26 per hour Benefits

Our office is seeking a talented and experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our team! We are a well established private practice with amazing patients. Easy going office environment where we take pride in our work and make the patient our priority.

Ideal candidate has 2 years of orthodontic experience. Orthodontic Assistant Certification or RDA License is highly preferred.

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8am-5pm

Compensation: $20 to $26 per hour Health Insurance Paid Time Off

Duties for our Orthodontic Assistant Include:

• Ensuring that all orthodontic instruments and equipment are properly sterilized before each use.
• Taking intraoral X-rays of patients’ mouths.
• Taking photographs of patients’ teeth to aid the Orthodontist in developing treatment plans and to document patient progress.
• Taking dental molds of patients’ teeth for the fabrication of customized mouth guards and retainers.
• Removing and replacing wires, coil springs, donuts, and elastic bands.
• Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices and braces aftercare.
