Class A or B driver needed for local dedicated account making electronics deliveries in and around the Boston area.

This position is Monday – Friday with weekends off with occasional Saturday work. Drivers will start in the am depending on when first appointment is scheduled. Deliveries are made in NY, MA and ME

Will be driving 26’ box truck and is responsible for unloading the trailer using hand truck or dolly

• Drivers will operate a variety of equipment including hand trucks, dollies, pallet jacks, hand tools, etc.
• Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 25 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Must be able exert up to 100LBS of pressure occasionally, and/or 50LBS of force frequently and 25LBS of force consistently in order to move items
• Driver is paid $23.00/Hr with a per diem and paid time and a half after 40 hours. Current drivers on this account (and not counting any extra weekend work) earn $60,000/Yr.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work as the truck stays at the facility but the truck is assigned to the driver – no slip seating

Requirements:

Must have six months verifiable Class A or Class B driving experience in the last 3 years.

No more than 3 moving violations or incidents in the last three years’

No major preventable accidents in the last 3 years (major accident defined as over $25K in damage) with no more than one highway accident during those three year

Can not have reckless/careless, rear end or rollover in last three years
