Clark & Young Excavation is Hiring a Foreman/Supervisor Near Walla Walla, WA

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Foreman/Supervisor to join our team. As a Foreman/Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. You will work closely with the project team to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a solid understanding of construction processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards

- Coordinate and communicate with project team members, subcontractors, and suppliers

- Develop project schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of tasks

- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations

- Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, schematics, and specifications

- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any design or construction issues

- Implement and enforce OSHA regulations and safety protocols on the job site

- Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and making adjustments as necessary

- Conduct regular meetings with project team members to provide updates on progress and address any concerns or issues

- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures

Skills:

- Strong budgeting skills to effectively manage project costs

- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ability to enforce safety protocols on the job site

- Experience in construction management, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and quality control

- Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and ability to review cost estimates for accuracy

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other construction documents

- Excellent supervisory skills to lead a team of workers effectively
