TITLE: ASSISTANT OPERATIONS MANAGER

Description Summary: Description Summary: Performs a variety of tasks relating to the administrative maintenance of a commercial cleaning company, including Quality Assurance Tasks, verifying and ensuring cleaners have performed their daily tasks/duties to the standards of our company as well as OSHA. Additionally, the role involves actively participating in cleaning tasks as required, performing the duties of commercial cleaners, and may entail working until 2 AM. Work assignments will vary.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Receives and understands instructions of cleaning requirements of assigned areas to be able to provide this information to cleaning technicians and utilize as needed.
- Receives instructions on schedule and timeframes for cleaning areas and buildings to help prepare schedules of cleaners, floor techs, and those working special projects.
- Performs cleaning duties alongside cleaning technicians, utilizing a variety of cleaning equipment, materials, and products such as vacuums, mops, microfiber cloths, and cleaning solutions.
- Understands the uses of a variety of cleaning equipment, materials, and products; such as vacuums, mops, microfiber cloths, cleaning solutions, etc.
- Quality Assurance duties as needed for different projects and regular clients.
- Ensures cleaning is completed in accordance with OSHA and Company standards.
- Administrative tasks as needed and assigned.
- Customer Service duties as needed.
- Ensures that all workers are conducting themselves in accordance with company procedures, including safety, door lock, time & attendance, and uniform policies.
- Supervises Personnel, conducts walk-throughs of cleaned spaces, and trains new personnel on procedures.
- Opens, closes, and ensures the securing of facilities during the evening hours
- Reports directly to the owner with any pertinent information
- Conducts Inventory and ordering of all supplies for assigned facilities.
Job Benefits & Description:
The individual selected must be capable of working with little supervision, have good people skills and be a problem solver. Must have at least one year of managerial experience AND commercial cleaning experience. Driver's license is required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing labor needs in our locations throughout Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Norfolk and Portsmouth
- Making sure all services are performed to established standards, in accordance with OSHA and in a timely manner
- Quality control of area serviced
-Commercial cleaning tasks alongside commercial cleaning technicians
- Maintaining weekly/monthly supply levels
- Interaction with customers while visiting job sites
- Conflict resolution
- Tracking and reporting weekly progress reports for specific sites
- Passion for a job well done
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE, PART-TIME. 20-30 HOURS PER WEEK, EVENING ONLY. TRAVEL AND EVENING HOURS ARE REQUIRED. MAY NEED TO WORK UNTIL 2 AM.

Job Qualifications
- Education and work history that demonstrates work ethic and responsibility.
- At least one year of active management experience and commercial cleaning experience
- Must have experience working with accounts (Customer Service)- preferable in commercial cleaning, but not required
- Must have ability to work independently, be organized and self motivated
- Must care about quality.
- Must be detail oriented and work at an efficient pace.
- Must be reliable.
- Must be able to work until 2 Am as needed.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
