POSITION: PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND CLE COORDINATOR
LOCATION: VARIOUS U.S. OFFICE LOCATIONS
Clark Hill PLC is seeking a Professional Development and CLE Coordinator. The position reports to the Director of Professional Development and is part of the firmwide Human Resources department. The position can reside in any of our U.S. office locations.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the development and implementation of the core training curriculum that revolve around our Core Competency Model.
  • Coordinate calendaring, scheduling and all logistical aspects of firmwide training and other programs.
  • Develop and use various methods such as surveys and assessments to elicit feedback on training programs.
  • Assist with training programs for each practice group.
  • Coordinate with external training vendors and consultants; review content and materials to ensure training programs align with Firm culture and initiatives.
  • Act as primary contact for internal CLE and coordinate all functions of internal CLE: including prepare and submit CLE applications to multiple jurisdictions; track course attendance; prepare and distribute certification of attendance; and report attendance for programming to multiple jurisdictions.
  • Assist with bi-annual evaluation process for non-member attorneys. Review and prepare electronic materials to be distributed to firm leaders and individuals.
  • Coordinate mentoring programs; facilitate mentor-mentee pairings, assist with new mentor programs, program enhancements, discussion topics and training.
  • Assist with other special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in professional development or training, preferably in a law firm or professional services firm.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office is preferred. Experience with performance management and HRIS systems is desirable.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to ensure that work product is clean and correct.
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment, using good judgement.
  • Proactive and able to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise a high standard of discretion.
  • Ability to work extended hours when necessary.
