Production Planner (Supervisor) is responsible for the technical management, supervision and control of the overall production processes.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Work with cross functional teams including operations, procurement, logistics and sales to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Manage inventory levels relative to manufacturing capacity and capability; compile and schedule orders.
• Monitor raw material needs with procurement, monitor material shortages
• Utilize market forecasts to anticipate necessary production changes.
• Analyze current and future raw material levels and finish goods inventory levels to plan production schedule for 2-3 weeks out.
• Evaluating raw materials, labor and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production.
• Collaborate with Production Manager to define workflow processes and address production issues to minimize delays in production.
• Keep all departments abreast of changes to current production schedules.
• Release manufacturing orders to warehouses for transfers using ERP system.
• Recommending solutions to reduce production costs as well as create efficiencies.
• Post all manufacturing transactions once orders have been completed.
• Reporting on the production status and any production issues to upper management.
• Set master production planning, material requirements planning and production scheduling metrics targets.

Required Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelors' degree or relatable work experience in logistics, supply chain.
• 4-8 years experience
• Experience in consumer goods / food / flavors
• Experience with ERP systems (Acctivate preferred)
• Comfortable in warehouse / production environment
• Experience with (windows), Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
• Excellent management, analytical and organizational skills
• Travel-Less than 10% of the time
