Clarivate Analytics US LLC is Hiring a Healthcare Research & Data Analyst Near Philadelphia, PA

Overview:

The Analyst for this team will be responsible for production of portfolio of Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid and/or Public Health Exchange medical/pharmacy lives and other data elements on the Market Access Data Team. The analysts have developing skills and knowledge on the market industry, segmentation as well as internally developed tools and methodologies. Works closely with Senior Analyst and Director on company verification and validation, market segment information and respondent relationships.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 2 years related experience with large data sets in a production environment (including internships)
  • Minimum 2 years Excel experience

It would be great if you also have . . .

  • Microsoft Access and SQL knowledge
  • Experience in one of the following areas: market research, and/or analysis.
  • Background in Managed Care Industry

What you will be doing in this role...

  • -Management of data collection and quality control of a portfolio of managed care organizations and or state agencies. Has developing knowledge of the portfolio including market level enrollment, pharmacy information and industry trends.
  • -Maintains relationships with external data sources like managed care organization respondents and or state contacts to obtain information and data. Assists in respondent or contact questions to obtain a high-quality source data.
  • - Gathers, analyzes, and develops estimations on secondary data/ research using various sources such as state department websites, press releases, company websites and other credible published sources. Works with other Senior analyst and directors on any data questions or concerns.
  • -Conducts company quality checks in the verification and validation process. Follows a documented written process to produce consistent high-quality data. The validation process is quality control of peer work in obtain highest possible data elements. Be comfortable with other peers questioning work completed.
  • -Research client questions and provides analysis to Director, Sales and Client Experience teams. Assist in any changes, updates, or follow-up if necessary due to the client input.
  • - Support Realtime lives project as it relates to medical, pharmacy and formulary lives. Develop formulary level lives for Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid and Public Health Exchange through calculations and mapping where appropriate. Possibly use industry and secondary research to develop enhanced formulary lives calculations.
  • - Development other Ad-Hoc research projects and request from Director and clients.

About the Team

The Market Access Data team researches and analyzes the health insurance market landscape in the United States. The team produces large data sets and online platforms for our clients to understand health insurance enrollment in the U.S. The team consist of approximately 15 Analysts, Senior Analysts and Principal Analysts. The team is located remotely in the United States and India.

Hours of Work

  • This is a hybrid role which can be performed at any of our US offices
  • This is a full-time position, primarily working core business hours EST zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed.
