Clarity Partners is seeking an EAM Database Developer local to Chicago, IL to develop and optimize the EAM system. This position will report in a hybrid setting.

Responsibilities:

• Writing SQL queries, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers for efficient database operations. 
• Utilizing Oracle database technology, including database design, schema changes, and implementation.
• Updating and creating Cognos reports to present data in a meaningful and actionable format.
• Implementing routine maintenance tasks to optimize database performance and ensure data integrity. 
• Ensuring the quality and integrity of data within the EAM system through effective database development techniques. 
• Designing and implementing database solutions that align with the requirements of the EAM system and support the organization's asset management goals.
• Working closely with software developers and other AT teams to integrate EAM database solutions into larger enterprise systems. 
• Utilizing reporting tools like Cognos and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) for generating comprehensive reports on asset management and related data.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for database structures, processes, and modifications.
• Collaborating with asset management teams to understand their data needs and optimize the EAM database to support effective decision-making.

Requirements

Requirements:

• 4 years of experience in a Database Developer role.
• Experience writing SQL queries and creating Cognos reports.
• In-depth understanding proficiency of Oracle database technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including clear and concise documentation of standards, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with team members.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
