Duties:

- Provide direct support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Implement behavior management systems to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals in the program
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure their dignity and respect are maintained
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document and maintain accurate records of services provided

Experience:

- Previous experience in direct support or caregiving roles is preferred
- Knowledge of working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and systems is beneficial
- Understanding of resident rights and person-centered care principles is desired
- First aid and CPR certification is a plus

This position requires compassion, patience, and the ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be a team player, and have a strong commitment to providing quality care.
