Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Companion to provide support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Companion, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by offering companionship, emotional support, and assistance with daily activities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities:

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

- Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and personal care

- Engage clients in social activities and hobbies

- Accompany clients on outings and appointments

- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior

- Implement behavior management techniques for clients with developmental disabilities or autism

- Provide dementia care and support for clients with memory impairments

- Administer first aid when necessary

- Monitor vital signs as needed

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in social work, home care, or patient care is preferred

- Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus

- Ability to drive and have a valid driver's license is required

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Compassionate and patient demeanor

- Ability to adapt to different client needs and preferences

- Knowledge of basic first aid procedures
