We're looking for a Project Manager to join the Project Management team at Modus.
About You
Experience Level: Senior
You have a proven track record of successful project delivery in dynamic and fast-paced environments from the technical delivery standpoint as a Support Team Project Manager. You have experience working with Support teams on level L1, L2 and L3 so you know how to prioritize 100 requests for them, as well as represent their team in front of the stakeholders. You know how to implement best practices and success factors for them. You have managed remote, globally distributed teams of engineers, designers, QA, etc. focused on delivering mobile and web applications. You are capable of triaging front-end, back-end, mobile as well as customer service dependencies to deliver timely and well organized responses.
Your primary focus will be collaborating with the client and Modus team members to measure and monitor results, manage day-to-day project operations, identify and escalate roadblocks, and be a main point of contact for our client and delivery teams. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required, particularly via video, phone, email, and chat.
You have previously worked with cross-functional teams and successfully managed and ensured delivery of large agile projects. You’re experienced with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe and Lean. Strong communication and relationship management is second nature to you. The ability to quickly learn and understand specific client processes is essential. Consulting with the client and Modus team on process improvements for the delivery will be important. Having a strong understanding of project accounting and the importance of monitoring hours, spending plans, and communicating this regularly is required. Experience with project management software, especially Atlassian, is a huge bonus.
You thrive leading, mentoring, and coaching team members from the comfort of your own home. You understand the importance of diving into customers' needs and translating those needs into requirements and user stories.
Having overlap with your team is critical when working in a global remote team. Modus requires all team members to overlap with EST hours daily. In addition, reliable high speed internet is a must.
