Position: Social Worker

Location: School Districts near Lockport, Illinois

Overview: Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team and support school districts across Illinois. The Social Worker will play a critical role in addressing the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students, helping them to overcome barriers to academic success and promoting a positive school environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support students' well-being and academic success.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students to address various emotional and behavioral issues.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to develop and implement effective strategies to support students.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP and 504 meetings.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies.
  • Connect students and families with external resources and community services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring.
  • Conduct home visits as necessary to engage with families and support students' needs.
  • Stay current with best practices in school social work through ongoing professional development and training.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
  • Valid Illinois state license (LSW or LCSW) or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of social work principles, ethics, and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
