- Clarifi Staffing Solutions is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to provide services in school settings across Georgia. As a School Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping students succeed academically and socially by supporting their ability to perform daily activities and participate in school life. This position is ideal for a professional who is passionate about promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for children with various needs.
- Evaluate students' abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to improve their functional performance.
- Provide therapy sessions aimed at enhancing students' motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and executive functioning skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to integrate occupational therapy goals with educational objectives and student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Offer guidance and training to school staff and parents on how to support the therapeutic goals at home and in school environments.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss and strategize on the best support and interventions for students.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions, evaluations, and progress reports in compliance with state regulations and school policies.
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Georgia state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or eligibility to obtain licensure before employment.
- Experience in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy preferred.
- Strong understanding of occupational therapy modalities applicable to a school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to the needs of diverse student populations.
