Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with an exceptionalschool district who is looking for a contract, Full Time OccupationalTherapist. We do our part by providing our therapists with unmatched careeropportunities, compensation and personalized service that goes beyond jobplacement.

Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive andprofessional environment and work in a fast-paced setting. The client isseeking a candidate available for full time hours. They would prefer someonewith previous School, Early Childhood, or Pediatric Experience. The schedulewill be 7.5 Hour Days Monday through Friday. This is an immediate need and theclient is actively interviewing.

Responsibilities include:

·Administers occupationaltherapy assessments to determine a student’s level of functioning relative totheir age and educational placement in such areas as fine/gross motor skilldevelopment, sensory motor integration, self-care, and the activities of dailyliving.

·Writes assessment reports identifyingthe student’s needs and proposed treatment strategies; writes individualstudent goals and objectives as part of the IEP; maintains progress records;participates in the IEP meeting.

·Develops occupational treatmentplans and goals for rehabilitative care to improve student functional abilitiesand enhance their ability to learn.

·Provides students withindividual treatment and group therapy sessions to correct specific areas ofsensory-motor integrative dysfunction.

·Develops occupational therapytreatment plans based on the educational goals for eligible students to improvethe student’s functional abilities within the school and naturalistic settings,in collaboration with the IEP team.

Requirements

·Master’s in OccupationalTherapy.

·State OccupationsTherapy license required.

·Must hold EducationalStaff Associate Certificate as a School Occupational Therapist.

·Onsite servicesrequired.
