The program Director must have no less than a CDA Certificate, a Technical Certificate, or an AA Diploma in Early Childhood Development; have completed 40-hours of Director’s training, or have served in the capacity of director or assistant director for a period not less than 5 consecutive years. Salary offered shall be comparable to individual’s level of education and training. This is a Salary position. Individual serving in the capacity of Director must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suites, and have some general bookkeeping knowledge. He or She should have good verbal and written communication skills.

The responsibilities for this position include, but may not be limited to the following:

• Manage daily operations of assigned facility.
• Serve as a Supervisory authority over all staff at assigned facility.
• Check compliance of files for all students and employees.
• Prepare and submit weekly finance and administrative reports to Executive Director.
• Facilitate monthly and quarterly staff meetings.
• Efficiently maintain facility budgets.
• Answer incoming calls regarding students and new enrollment.
• Process enrollment applications for incoming/wait-listed students.
• Conduct or oversee all Parent/Student and Employee Orientations.
• Process and record all weekly child care payments.
• Coordinate all staff training to ensure compliance.
• Review weekly timesheets for Payroll processing.
• Assist with keeping receptionist/front office areas neat at all times.
• Maintain facility compliance at all times in accordance with Bright From the Start Early Learning Child Care Licensing guideline by conducting weekly facility check.
• Inventory supply and equipment each month for ordering in accordance with budget.

This position demands strict confidentiality and loyalty. Child’s files, employees’ files, and company’s personal operating affairs, are not to be discussed with anyone other than your Superior. Violation of such will be considered insubordinate, and shall result in immediate termination.'
