Description

Headquartered in Lakeshore Center in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, Claremont Companies is a privately owned and closely held real estate investment, development and asset management firm. Today, Claremont owns in excess of 60 real estate assets consisting of hotels, apartments, retail centers, and office buildings with plans to expand even further. 

Claremont is growing and we’re looking to add an Assistant Property Manager to our team to support our Four Winds apartment location. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the property under the direction of the Property Manager and assume responsibility for the property in the Property Manager’s absence.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the target apartments are ready for show by maintaining work areas and office in clean and orderly manner
  • Have an awareness of the “curb appeal” of the property
  • Responsible for the inventory and ordering of all necessary administrative supplies and equipment for the office staff
  • Ensure a professional appearance and behavior for oneself and all personnel at all times
  • Display thorough knowledge of leasing techniques, sales methods and property rental information as designed by Claremont Management Company
  • Provide efficient and timely reporting, maintenance and submission of all administrative forms, files and reports.
  • Post rent to the Yardi system. 
  • Ensure contact with business and locator services, and ensuring availability of promotional materials.
  • Ensure efficient and courteous response to all resident requests.
  • Assist the Property Manager in designing and implementing a resident retention program, i.e., a newsletter or social activities.
  • Report any unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the residents or the property.
  • Ensure that all personnel operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 months related experience 
  • Proficient math skills
  • Ability to respond to all inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
  • Comfort with presenting information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, residents, and fellow employees
  • Comfort being frequently exposed to outside weather conditions and moderate noise levels
