Position:Full-time or part-time opportunities are available at our outpatient clinics. Duties & Responsibilities:The selected APRN-PMH will join an outstanding multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, other APRNs, registered nurses, counselors and administrative and support staff. As an important member of this team under the supervision of a delegating physician, the APRN will: Complete psychiatric diagnostic assessments and follow ups and makes recommendations for treatment within an evidence-based framework. Demonstrate strong clinical judgment in assessment, application of diagnostic criteria, clinical formulations, and sound triage decisions. Provide consultation regarding client care to clinical staff. Actively contribute to the treatment center and organization through on-going collaborative efforts. The provider will not be required to prescribe controlled substances (Buprenorphine, Suboxone, Benzodiazepines, other) so DEA is not required. Medication Assisted Treatment at our facilities only include oral and IM Naltrexone (Vivitrol). Minimum Training & Experience:APRN-PMH currently licensed in the state of Georgia. Proficient use of a computer and ability to utilize an Electronic Health Record and other applications. 1-3 years’ experience preferred. . Sessions may be in person or via telehealth (audio/visual) as appropriate for each client. May be required to physically assist clients, may need to carry objects up to 10 pounds.
