Clair Global's Manufacturing team is looking for a skilled individual to join their woodshop as a Case Assembly Technician.

The Case Assembly Technician performs a full range of duties that requires a thorough understanding of departmental organization, functions, policies, and procedures.

This position is responsible for working in a team environment to efficiently assemble cases for touring and sale applications.

The work schedule for this position will be Monday-Friday, 3 : 00pm-11 : 30pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :

• Table Saw Operation (Bevels, Rabbets & Dadoes)
• Compound Miter Saw, Router Table, and Hand Router Operations
• Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints, and technical terms.
• Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
• Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS : The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and / or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job, while exercising judgment and discretion.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative. Must be a quick learner, able to multi-task, and switch gears easily.
• Demonstrated competence to assess priorities and manage a variety of activities in a time-sensitive environment and to meet deadlines with attention to detail, accuracy and quality.
• Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member in fast-paced environment.
• Follow OSHA and ISO standards.
• Must be able to lift up-to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

EXPERIENCE :

• Familiarity with both imperial and metric measurement units
• Experience with reading and building from assembly prints
• Experience with common wood shop tools and equipment
