Clackamas Community College (CCC) seeks to hire a part-time Student Services Specialist position. The work schedule is 2-full days per week. Days to be determined upon hire.Essential Job Functions: Enter data related to student services; registration, accounts receivable, collection of data and student records.Provide support and assistance to students, partners, clients and staff.Provide customer service.Communicate information accurately.Work as a team member.Implement procedures that reflect institutional policy, comply with state/federal requirements and demonstrate excellent customer service.Comply with FERPA regulations.May provide assistance to other department personnel as workload and staffing levels dictate. Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED AND at least two years office/business experience. Advanced knowledge of general office procedures. Ability to work independently to attain department goals. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide excellent customer service over the phone and in person to the general public, clients, students, staff & faculty. Demonstrated organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously for a variety of programs. Ability to handle periods of heavy data entry. Be reliable, dependable and flexible. Operate standard office machines: fax, copier, printer, etc. Use word processing software. Use correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the duties as described. Preferred Qualifications: Associate Degree
