CLA SITE is seeking landscape designers, landscape architects and site civil engineers for multiple positions to share our passion for traditional and sustainable site design and environmental compliance and permitting. All candidates should possess strong technical design, written and verbal communication skills.

Landscape Designers, you will pass your licensing exam with the experience we provide in our office. Landscape Architects and Site/Civil Engineers you will expand your work portfolios to include an exciting variety of creative development projects of all sizes, municipal and community based projects, and industrial sector projects throughout New York State. Saratoga Springs is a small city in the country with a robust cultural vibe and performing arts scene, urban walkability to a variety of restaurants, shops, and bars, and close proximity to the natural beauty of the Hudson River Valley and Adirondack and Catskill Mountains.
High level of design aptitude and skill; Passion for landscape architectural and site civil projects of all sizes and locations throughout New York State; Degree in landscape architecture from an accredited school; 1-3 years’ experience in the field; Strong knowledge of planting design and plant identification; Excellent verbal and graphic communication skills; Team oriented, flexible, and positive attitude.
Proficiency with: Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office
Competency with: Hand sketching and drawing, Rhino/ Sketchup/ Lumion
Degree in landscape architecture or engineering from an accredited school; Proficiency with initiating design concepts and project strategy; Strong communication skills, experience working directly with detail-oriented clients; Experience with a variety of site/civil and landscape architectural projects; 5-8 years’ experience in the field; Excellent organizational and project management skills; Strong construction detailing and grading skills; Experience with construction administration.
