Position Based in Grand Island, NE

Responsibilities:

Assembly and Installation:

• Assemble and install electrical and mechanical parts on agricultural equipment.
• Wire control boxes, bend and install hydraulic tubing, and fit spray hose and fittings.
• Conduct quality control, testing, and adjustments as needed.

Shipping and Receiving:

• Crate or palletize products.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Operate forklift and process shipping/receiving paperwork.

Fabrication and Welding:

• Measure and layout work from drawings.
• Cut steel with bandsaw and plasma torch, drill, tap, and weld.
• Finish completed components.

Service Technician:

• Assist with field service and installation during peak seasons.
• Perform outdoor tasks such as troubleshooting, oil changes, and machinery assembly.
• Travel required, some overnight stays.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of applicable experience or trade school certificate.
• Ability to work in shop and field environments.
• Good work ethic and decision-making skills.
• Ability to read drawings and operate machinery safely.
• Associates degree in Mechatronics, Electromechanical Technology or Welding preferred.
