CJF Associates is Hiring an Environmental Scientist Near Saint Clair, MI

**Overview:**

We are seeking an Environmental Scientist/Technician to join our small close knit team. The ideal candidate will possess a knowledge of the environmental consulting industry and strong analytical skills. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects in the field of environmental consulting. We are looking for someone to work on field projects, perform some laboratory data analysis, and write environmental reports. Previous experience in any of these areas is a bonus, but willing to provide training for the right candidate. We are a small easygoing but focused group of professionals and administrative staff working together in a respectful environment.

**Responsibilities:**

- Conduct occasional fieldwork including storm water sampling, drilling, soil sampling, groundwater sampling, etc.

- Analyze data collected in the field and determine future steps to take to address any issues identified

- Write technical reports based on data collected

- Collaborate with team members on project work

**Skills:**

- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation

- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

- Ability to collect and analyze data effectively

- Skilled in technical writing for reports and publications

- Mechanical knowledge for fieldwork and equipment maintenance

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
