Civility Home Care is Hiring a Personal Care Aide (PCA) Near Hartford, CT

We are hiring compassionate Caregivers, Personal Care Attendants, and Live In’s to work in homecare settings. We are proud to offer you the opportunity to pursue your passion for flexible schedules. · Home Care shifts available

· Weekly pay with direct deposit

· Flexible hours and work schedules. (Day, Evenings, Nights & Weekends) You can work with your availability.

· A variety of in-home and assisted living assignments.

Supplemental schedule:

· Holiday Pay (as applicable)

· Overtime Pay (as applicable)

Weekly schedule:

· Full-time, Part-time, Per Diem, Overnights and Live In

Responsibilities:

· Provides care, such as, but not limited to, bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, as necessary.

· Provides care according to the patient’s plan of care, assistance with daily tasks, such as, but not limited to feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, providing transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping.

· Ensured that service is provided in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with Agency policies and procedures and industry standards.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED

· Authorized to work in the USA

· A current, valid state certification and in good standing preferred.

· Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray

· Minimum one (1) year of documented health care experience is preferred.

· Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile is preferred.

· Empathy for the needs of the client.

· Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively.

· Treats clients, staff and the public with courtesy, respect and presents a positive professional image.

· Ensures confidentiality and security of the client s medical information.
