The projects they work on are a mixture of public and private sectors. Their capabilities include self-perform concrete, excavation, and piling as well as sub-contracting these packages out. The size of the projects they work on can range in value from $5M - $400M. They have been trading for over 50 years and have earnt a great reputation across Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, The Bronx, Westchester & Yonkers.

About the opportunity

My client is looking for a Project Manager to join their team due to a long-term pipeline of work, working on heavy civil and heavy highway projects. The projects you will be working on will range in value between $1M - $70M and the scope of work will include concrete foundations/structures, excavations, piling, all self-delivered.

The role will involve:

• Provide overall leadership to project team.

• Identify, evaluate, and manage selected subcontractors and vendors.

• Understand and administer contract and subcontract agreements.

• Establish, communicate, and implement the Project Schedule.

• Manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control program.

Benefits & Rewards

My client is looking to pay between $140,000 - $180,000 a full benefits package. This position also offers you long term job stability, long term, technically challenging projects and great career prospects.

Requirements

It is essential you have heavy civil/heavy highway experience, self-performing this type of work. It’s also essential you have experience working for heavy civil contractors on projects across NYC and holding down good job stability. Finally, it would be preferred if you have a bachelors degree in a construction related field.
