Summary:
As a Water/Wastewater Engineering Program Manager for the City of Lawrence you will serve as a vital member of the Municipal Services and Operations (MSO) Department. You will perform professional level engineering duties ranging from routine to very complex in nature associated with water/wastewater treatment process, environmental, pollution control, water rights, source water protection, planning, design, optimization and associated equipment and technologies. Plans, coordinates, and directs treatment processes of the City's water and wastewater treatment systems through technical review of data and models. Coordinates assigned water/wastewater treatment, environmental, and pollution control activities with other divisions and operations to ensure reliability, sustainability, and optimization.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field from an accredited college or university.
Experience
Six years of increasingly responsible experience in relevant areas of engineering.
Required Licenses
Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Kansas or ability to obtain it within six months. Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate valid Driver’s license.
