Youth Program Coach Position

We have a new and exciting opportunity to join our coaching team here at City-Sofive, to help deliver Manchester City’s methodology and philosophy through our youth programs at our state-of-the-art soccer centers.

As a soccer coach you will be enrolled into the Manchester City coach development program to help you grow and progress into the best you can be. You will be supported every step of the way, allowing you to feel confident in the programs you will be delivering. We want to make sure you are fully set up for success with the right resources in place providing full coaching kits, curriculum packs and on-going training.

DEPARTMENT: Manchester City Classes at City-Sofive

REPORTS TO: Academy Director

All coaches will be supported in their coaching development and enrolled on the Manchester City Education program. Provide with full coaching kit, resources and the Manchester City Play coaching curriculum for your sessions.

Key responsibilities

• To ensure all the City Football Group coaching philosophy, methodology and principles are incorporated into the delivery of the program.
• To support the Academy Director and lead staff pre, during and post the delivery, attend meetings when necessary and training twice a season.
• To deliver the coaching program in a professional manner, provide session plans for your coaching each week and follow the 10-week curriculum.
• To work both individually and collectively as part of a team ensuring the project is delivered to the required levels and expectations.
