Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly vigilant and attentive Unarmed Security Guard to join our team at a luxury apartment complex. As an integral part of our security team, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of security and ensuring the safety of residents and property within the apartment complex . Previous experience as an unarmed security guard, preferably in a residential or apartment complex setting.

Schedule:

• Sunday | 10:00PM - 6:00AM
• Monday | 10:00PM - 6:00AM
• Tuesday | 10:00PM - 6:00AM
• Wednesday | 10:00PM - 6:00AM
• Thursday| 10:00PM-6:00AM
• Total weekly hours = 40 hours (set schedule)

Responsibilities:

• Utilize advanced visitor management systems within the guard shack to facilitate efficient and secure access for residents and authorized guests.
• Greet residents and visitors in a professional and courteous manner, effectively addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
• Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to any potential security threats or breaches.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter criminal activity and ensure compliance with community rules and regulations.
• Effectively communicate with residents, property management, and fellow security personnel to coordinate security efforts and address concerns.
• Document all security incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports, maintaining accurate records of daily operations.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information and security matters.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, and other safety hazards.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, security protocols, and emerging technologies relevant to security operations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an unarmed security guard in a high-end residential or luxury apartment complex setting.
• Extensive experience with guard shack visitor management systems, including proficiency in operating access control software and hardware.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of individuals.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by operational needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security or related fields is a plus.
