As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the security of the premises and protecting the health and well-being of staff, and visitors.

We are seeking a highly reliable and responsible Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our Depot Truck Parking lot. The Security Officer, while sitting in a comfortable state of the art climate controlled guard shack, will be responsible for monitoring the entrance of all trucks, inspecting vehicles upon entry, inputting data into an electronic system, and patrolling the parking lot via golf cart to ensure compliance with established procedures. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule:

• Wednesday | 10:00PM - 6:00AM
• Thursday | 10:00PM - 6:00AM
• Friday | 6:00PM - 6:00AM
• Saturday | 6:00PM - 6:00AM
• Total weekly hours = 40 hours (set schedule)

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly and effectively to security and safety incidents, including medical emergencies and alarms
• Perform access control responsibilities by documenting all that enter and exit the property, via a visitor management system
• Conduct inventory of all equipment that's on the property
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for equipment, supplies and property
• Conduct regular patrols of the site to identify and address any potential security issues
• Complete daily reports and maintain accurate records of incidents and activities
• Monitor traffic coming onto the property.
• Warn and report violators of premise rules and regulations.
