City Roots Hospitality Group is Hiring an Experienced Bartender Near New York, NY

City Roots Hospitality Group is looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes base hourly pay and tips.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
  • Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
  • Work well in a fast paced environment as a member of a team.
  • Communicate effectively with other staff members and guests.
  • Maintain a sense of urgency at all times and take initiative.
  • Be dedicated to our customers, our brand and each other.

Skills

  • Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
  • Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
  • Computer literacy
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Attention to cleanliness and safety. Food safety certification will be a plus.
  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
