The Chief Accountant is responsible for supervising the operation of the finance department, including accounting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, purchasing, auditing, investments, financial reporting, and special projects. Personally handles more important, confidential accounting matters. Development of policies, procedures, and systems. The position is responsible for performing technical and professional accounting workincluding general ledger account research, preparation of various reconciliations, accountanalyses and general account reporting. The position requires hands on accounting and financialanalysis work, as well as coordination and monitoring of multiple assigned projects withassigned deadlines.
