Position Summary:
The Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) , is responsible for managing the planning, execution, construction and overall project management related to city capital infrastructure projects. This position plays a crucial role in managing the entire project lifecycle, from initial conception and budgeting to final implementation and closeout. They will also develop and implement delivery standards, applicable to complex municipal projects, to ensure quality and consistent outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, construction management, financial analysis and budgeting and exceptional leadership and communication skills. The CIP Manager will lead a team of project managers, inspectors and civil engineers.
