Water Pollution Control Compliance Technician

Great career opportunity. The City is accepting applications for a full-time Water Pollution Control Compliance Technician. Annual wage ranges $41,618.26 - $62472.38 depending on experience. Must have a valid Motor vehicle operator’s license. This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, two (2) years of technical training in the laboratory. College credits in chemistry and/or biology are a plus. Ability to obtain and maintain a Missouri Department of Natural Resources “B” Wastewater Operators Certification within a predetermined amount of time. Prefer four (4) years’ experience in wastewater operations with a MWEA water analysis certification. Knowledge of EPA’s DMRQA, CFR Industrial Pretreatment Program and FOG Program are a plus. Work hours are 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, M-F with some after hours, weekends and on-call duty. Must be a team player.
