Parks Department
Laborer/Park Attendant
The City of Walterboro has one (1) opening for a full-time Laborer/Park Attendant in the Parks Department.
- The successful candidate will be under general supervision and will be responsible for edging, weed eating, trail maintenance, removing trash, maintaining appropriate equipment, etc.
- Landscaping & irrigation experience are preferred but not necessary.
- Cleaning animal tanks and landscape maintenance and the Wildlife Center.
- Downtown landscape maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Applicant must have a High School Diploma or equivalent with a valid S.C. Driver’s License.
- The candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Salary Range dependent upon qualifications - $22,291 - $36,310
- Please provide a 3-year driving record with the application
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $13.55 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
