City of Tyler is Hiring a School Crossing Guard Near TX 75702, TX

FIVE (5) VACANCIES AVAILABLE

To escort children across major streets at designated school crossing locations.

Escorts children across the streets.
May be required to drive to different crossing locations.
Must have the ability to select safe crossing conditions.
Must be able to stand, and walk up to 3 hours per day.
Must be able to observe oncoming traffic, children's actions and watch for traffic hazards.
Must be able to hear children's requests and traffic noises.
Other duties as assigned.

This is a split shift position; you must be able to work both shifts: 6:40 am to 8:40 am AND 2:35 pm to 4:35 pm. Must possess a valid Texas Class "C" Driver's License with a clear driving record.
