The Tigard Public Library seeks several On-Call Librarians to help patrons access technology and find materials they want and need. Join our team to ensure that the Library is a trusted source for accurate, vital materials and resources.
These positions provide professional level reference, readers advisory, and technology support at the adult and children's reference desks. On-Call Librarians fill weekday, evening, weekend and short notice scheduling needs.
These On-Call positions do not have a regular schedule from week to week. On-Call Librarians help provide reference desk coverage for planned and unplanned absences in the Readers Services division. There are opportunities to accept shifts weeks in advance for planned absences, and on short notice for unplanned absences.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:
Any combination of training and experience, which would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities, to perform the essential functions of the position, may be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:
