City of Stillwater, Oklahoma is Hiring a 61-24 Police Officer Near Stillwater, OK

61-24 Police Officer: The Stillwater Police Department is accepting applications for Police Officers. Candidatesmust be 21-45 years of age, in good physical condition, no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent, college preferred.

Starting base rate is $59, 446.40- $66, 518.40 annually (based on experience), plus comprehensive benefits package including family medical and dental insurance, paid vacation, holiday and sick leave, police pension, college tuition reimbursement and incentive pay. Currently, career (non-supervisory) patrol officers top out at $46.94 per hour.

Schedule: Patrol Officers work four ten hour shifts per week with three days off.

The Stillwater Police Department is one of the most well equipped and trained departments in the country. We support our personnel by providing the latest in equipment and technology. The Stillwater Police Department is housed in a state-of-the-art facility. The building is a four-story structure including underground parking, office space, fitness center, central communications center, detention center, and full classroom training facilities.

In addition to the state-of-the-art facilities, department members are outfitted with all equipment and uniforms at no cost to the employee, including a Glock 17 9mm and 5.56 carbine.

The Stillwater Police Department offers a take home car program with each vehicle equipped with a laptop and high-speed internet.

We also offer numerous promotion opportunities and specialty positions for our officers including K-9, Collision Reconstruction, Criminal Investigations, SWAT, Lake Patrol, Training Officer, School Resource Officer, Drug Recognition Experts, Firearm Training Coordinator, and Drug and Alcohol Enforcement Officers.
