Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Days Worked: Tue., Wed., Thu., Fri.
Rate of Pay: $21.90 Hourly -
Details: Class A or B CDL Rate of Pay: $23.00 Hourly
Job Summary
Essential Job Functions
- Operates a front-end loader, tractor, dozer, excavator, or other equipment used to facilitate the work of the division;
- Operates tools such as a jack hammer, chainsaw, chop saw and other tools as needed;
- Washes and performs preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment;
- Performs laboring duties pertinent to the operations of the division;
- Performs general housekeeping duties on occasion;
- Serves on City Emergency Response Team as required.
Requirements to Perform Work
- High School Diploma or GED;
- One (1) year of experience in a related field;
- Or equivalent training, education, and/or experience; and
- Valid State of Georgia Driver’s License.
Additional Information
The selected candidate must complete the following requirements prior to starting work with the City of Statesboro:
- Background Investigation
- Pre-Employment Urinalysis
- Pre-Employment Physical (If Applicable)
