The City of Springdale is currently accepting applications for the position of POOL MANAGER. Interested persons should submit an application to the Human Resources Department. This posting will remain open until position is filled.

Responsible for daily operations of the Springdale Aquatic Center, including all pools and slides, dressing room facilities, offices and storage space, and pool equipment. The work includes supervision and training of a large staff, promotion and implementation of programs, public relations, and daily facility maintenance. The Pool Managers perform under the supervision of the Recreation Superintendent.

Thorough knowledge and enforcement of the facility procedures, rules and regulations, forms and reports, and legal issues is required. The Pool Manager must possess the following:

· Reliability

· Professionalism

· Public relationship skills

· Good communication and organization skills

· Knowledge in the day to day operations of the Springdale Aquatic Center.

This is a seasonal position – Starting pay rate is $20.00/ hour.
