Description

The City of South Lake Tahoe is recruiting for multiple seasonal Maintenance Technician III to assist with our Streets department. This position will assist with patching, paving, painting, striping, replacing signs, and providing general street maintenance services. CDL license is preferred. If candidates are interested, the City can provide CDL training during summer with a commitment to continue working during winter on Snow Operations.
Candidates who are hired for this position and have a CDL, or obtain one during the Summer, will have a guaranteed spot as a Maintenance Technician V for our winter snow removal operations for the 2024/2025 season. Maintenance Technician V, Step 5 currently pays $38.32 per hour. Candidates will need to separate from the City for 13 weeks between the end of their summer assignment and the beginning of their winter assignment.
