CITY OF SILOAM SPRINGS is Hiring a Billing Supervisor Near Siloam Springs, AR
Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Billing Supervisor. As a Billing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the billing process and ensuring accurate and timely invoicing. This is a key role within our organization, customer service, billing, monthly and ad hoc reporting, oversee the planning, organizing and daily functions of cashiers and billing clerks.
Duties:
- Manage the billing process from start to finish, including reviewing contracts, creating invoices, and sending them to clients
- Ensure accuracy of billing information, including rates, quantities, and discounts
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for invoicing
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
- Resolve any billing discrepancies or issues in a timely manner
- Maintain detailed records of all billing activities
- Prepare regular reports on billing status and financial performance
Requirements:
- Associates degree and one year of experience, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in billing or accounting role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with billing software or systems is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
