The incumbent in this position will work in the Engineering group, which primarily focuses on managing design and construction of new assets within the City right-of-way to improve mobility and stormwater management for the general public. Under the supervision of the Engineering Manager, an Associate Civil Engineer will perform work that may include project scoping, management of professional services by outside firms, plans/specification/estimate preparation, construction management, planning and conducting engineering studies, right-of-way acquisitions, preparation of grant applications, administration of grants, and management of project budgets.
