The Parks and Recreation Department is seeking customer service focused individuals to fill hourly positions. The positions will work at the front reception desk at various Parks and Recreation locations, and under general supervision assist walk-in, phone and e-mail customers by providing information on facility rentals and program activities. Additional responsibilities include processing applications, issuing permits, collecting fees, performing various administrative tasks and providing clerical and accounting duties. Bilingual (Spanish) speaking skills are highly desirable. Marketing and outreach experience and interest is also desirable though not required and tasks could include developing graphic media including flyers and signage, maintaining an events calendar, and assisting with digital asset management. The position will work part time and not exceed 960 hours per fiscal year. Work schedule is anticipated to be approximately 20 hours per week.
