Special Requirements

Valid commercial driver’s license with Class A Exempt with Tanker endorsement in the State of Indiana preferred, or must possess a Class B CDL with airbrakes and the ability to obtain the Tanker endorsement in 6 months and the Class A exempt CDL in 1 year.

Performs semiskilled work assisting with the construction and repair of sewers, operating maintenance machinery, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Sewer Maintenance Manager.

Essential Functions

-Receives and responds to city facility sewer maintenance issues; inspects, diagnoses, and corrects problem.

-Assists in the construction operations by raising manhole covers.

-Operates, maintains, and repairs assigned equipment and vehicles.

Pay: $35,520.97 - $39,467.75 per year
