General Summary TARGET HIRING RANGE: $6,590 to $7,904 MONTHLY (DOQ) GENERAL SUMMARY Performs intermediate skilled administrative support work to multiple levels of management and employees in one or more key functional areas of Human Resources, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the Human Resources Director ("supervisor").

Minimum Qualifications SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Valid driver's license.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree with coursework in human resources management, business administration, public administration, employment law, general studies or related field and three (3) years of experience in human resources administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desirable Qualifications - Five (5) or more years of experience in human resources with at least three (3) years in a generalist or specialist role.
- SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR or PHR certification.
- Prior public sector human resources experience.
- Prior benefits administration experience.
- Prior labor relations experience, preferably in a union environment with multiple collective bargaining agreements.
- Prior experience conducting fact-findings/investigations and drafting disciplinary documents.
- Prior experience administering leave management programs (FMLA, ADA, Workers' Comp, etc.).
