The Rapid City Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for beautifying, operating, and maintaining park and recreation assets (parks, trails, and recreation facilities) as well as implementing year-round recreation programs for all ages.
The Department is also responsible for park maintenance and the City's urban forest. It is the mission of the Rapid City Parks and Recreation Department to make Rapid City a better place to live, work, and play.

ABOUT OUR JOB
The Park Ranger Supervisor oversees and directs the activities of the Park Ranger Division within the Parks and Recreation Department.
This role involves planning, coordinating, and managing daily operations and requires specialized knowledge to enforce city ordinances governing the use of parks and recreational facilities.
The Supervisor is responsible for handling the most challenging park ranger issues, using discretionary authority to resolve matters effectively.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
The Park Ranger Supervisor will also actively participate in field duties characteristic of Park Rangers.
